Welcome to Byond Books, a company dedicated to providing resources to criminal justice-involved individuals and their support system. We offer a range of services, including photo books, magazines, and books. Our special service allows inmates to order gifts to be sent home to their family and loved ones, and every incarcerated customer is entered into a monthly drawing, where one lucky individual gets to choose one of three gifts to be sent to a loved one of their choice.
At Byond Books, we believe that access to reading materials and the opportunity to send gifts home can have a positive impact on the well-being of incarcerated individuals and help foster stronger relationships. We are committed to supporting and connecting incarcerated individuals with their loved ones.

BYOND BOOKS was founded in 2016 by Timika Barnes who saw a need to restore the family structure between justice involved individuals and their families. BYOND BOOKS exists to serve all those affected by crime and incarceration and to see lives and communities restored in and out of prison—one transformed life at a time.
Our Services
BYOND BOOKS works to restore America’s criminal justice system and those it affects. We help men and women replace the cycle of brokenness that landed them in prison. We advocate for justice reform and activate grassroot networks to do the same. We equip incarcerated individuals with the literature they need to help build the skills they will need to return to society. We care for prisoners’ families and help strengthen the bond between children and their parents who are behind bars through literacy and personalized gifts.

BYOND BOOKS offers a catalog that is made specifically for inmates within the DOC, FCI, and FDC, included in our catalog is books, magazines, photo book rates, along with our special services for inmates at a discounted rate.
Literature
BYOND BOOKS offers a vast selection of books for incarcerated individuals. Orders can be made by inmates or family members of inmates.
